bogus weight loss products

Every where I look I keep seeing these ads for the new weight loss plan from Oprah and Racheal Ray. It promotes using acai and colon cleanse. Well Acai may be good for you but by itself it won’t cause significant weight loss or fitness. And as for colon cleansing…. Well anyone who has ever had a colonoscopy can tell you that cleaning out your colon won’t take away any of that belly fat.

Truth is there is no magic pill for weight loss. There is no product that allows you to continue to consume mass quantities of junk food and lose weight. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is a healthy diet and exercise. To lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume and to keep it off your intake has to equal your outgoing.

Of course boosting your metabolism allows you to eat more calories but if those calories are empty calories like chips, candy, and soda you will not be well nourished. The best way to boost your metabolism is to work out and increase your muscle. Muscle is the best fat burner there is.

To lose weight what you need is a lifestyle change and a fitness plan. Beachbody offers countless ways to work out, plenty of nutritional advice, diet tips, recipes, menu plans, and online support to attain your goals.
